The oldest topic here ended a month ago. Are we getting close to a release? Can we expect it this month? Thanks.

Can we expect continuing posts from you asking this until it is released? ๐Ÿ˜‰

But for anyone else reading we are, and have always been, targeting May as for the 22.05 release. Hence the name. But if it's not ready for release by the end of May then it won't be.
We expect to move to beta this coming week and, depending on what issues that reveals, move to final testing soon after.

Stephenw10, I have been reading about the ZFS changes, they are pretty nice, boot environments :)
Also that its recommended a reinstall to get the new ZFS layout.

I know that this change won't be available to SG-3100 users, so, it won't be necessary to perform a clean install in this device? Or some of this changes will also affect UFS installs?

dead on arrival, nowhere to be found.

No, you will not need to reinstall anything that cannot use ZFS or that you don't need ZFS on.

You will not need to reinstall anything in fact. You can continue to use ZFS on older installs, you just won't be able to use the new webgui boot environment tools.
