Find out what an ip is used by/for
-
Hi,
I am blocking outbound traffic I don't know. Doing that fills the log and I'd like to understand how to figure out what all that stuff is used by and for if possible.
One current example of what is being blocked is my Amazon FireTV that wants to access
151.101.86.248:443 TCP:PA
I know of services like WhoIs and what port 443 is :) but as that does not exactly answers my question, is it possible to find out more? I suppose it is needed for something, just curious what, and would like to learn and understand more of what is going on. And yes, I have tried google, didn't turn up much of anything really.
Anyone? -
