      Running pfsense plus (22.01-RELEASE (amd64) on esxi7, and i am finding that the speeds are about about 10x slower than a physical machine.

      I am running 2 vlans, no packages except for the vmware guest tools (open-vm tools). The physical nics are 1gb and 10gb, the WAN interface is running on a dedicated nic, and the LAN interface is running on a 10gb interface configured as a trunk. I followed the esx guide on setup. The virtual adapters are vmext3 adapters.

      On physical hardware I am getting 500/500, but on virtual i am getting 50-60mb down/ and 20mb up.
