hi, im new to pfSense and stuck on an issue that Ive been trying to resolve but getting nowhere.

      my setup:
Virgin Media Router (Modem Mode) --> pfSense Box --> TP-Link PoE Switch (TL-SG105PE) --> TP-Link Access Point

      pfSense setup:
Virgin Media connected into Port 1 (igb0)
my PC connected into Port 2 (igb1)
PoE Switch Connected into Port 4 (igb3)

LAN - my PC - 10.1.1.1 IP Range
VLAN - PoE Switch - Access Point - 10.1.10.1 IP Range

      settings:

PoE doesn't seem to be getting an IP from the port, I tried connecting my PC into the same port instead of Switch and done renew ipconfig and I was unable to get an IP.

could someone point me in the right direction please

      thank you

@starlordgroot Is it set for DHCP or maybe it has a static address assigned?

Edit: Just read the 'unable' part. Thought it said able.

Looks like you have the port/dhcp set correctly.
Is the vlan correct on your switch?

@jarhead I had posted elsewhere and it seems like I need to setup the switch first and then connect it to pfSense?
I thought if I reset it and connect it to the box, it would at least get an IP.
