can someone layout the differences/benefits of tnsr over pfsense+ for me?
i've tried searching for comparisons but can only really find the same stuff thats said on the software page for tnsr.

i know its strictly a "powerful router" and not a firewall, but what exactly is so powerful about it? does it boost network speeds or lower ping? faster throughput? like what EXACTLY does it do that makes it a better router than pfsense?

i've got it installed on a VM on my server. i just havent turned it on yet.

i've got a 10g network with a mixture of sfp+ and cat8 ethernet. full unifi setup (x2 switch pros and x2 u6 access points). hp proliant dl360p gen8 server with sfp+ 10g nic, 64gb of ram currently and dual cpus (Intel Xeon E5-2690 @ 2.90GHz and Intel Xeon E5-2680 @ 2.70GHz)

isp is shaw fiber+ 1.5g, currently getting about 1600mbps download speed, 110mbps upload and around 8 ping.

would i see improvements in any of the download/upload/ping categories? or would they be comparable to pfsense+?

as i stated, i have it installed and ready for setup, just haven't had the time to dedicate to working on it lately due to it being strictly CLI. but if its as hype as its made out to be and shows noticeable improvements to my network, then id like to start toying around with it.
