Captive portal not working on VLAN?

Hey everyone,
I'm having issues when configuring a captive portal on a VLAN. I've tried changing the port of the WebGUI so it doesn't conflict, but the captive portal html page is not showing.
However, if I apply the same configuration on a new and moderately fresh interface (just enabling DHCP server and NAT), the captive portal works totally fine.I have two VLANs and I'm trying to make one authenticate through users in the local database and then, the other one will be using vouchers.
I've been searching for this topic in this forum and I've seen comments talking that there is something with the parent interface conflicting. The parent interface of these VLANs is the LAN interface, however, I've removed all rules, ipv4 configuration and dhcp server of that interface, so I'm a bit lost. So, is it possible to enable captive portals on a VLAN? Please tell me what am I missing.

VLAN, or not, the captive portal doesn't care.

You use the DHCP server on every LAN interface, even when you don't need it ;)
ON a portal type interface, where you don't know if people have set up a correct static IP setup (changes are close to zero), you need a DHCP server.
You'll be needing a working DNS server, the default unbound setup will do just fine.Why you talk about NAT ??
NAT rules and related firewall rules are needed for your local services that you need to make accessible for devices somewhere on the Internet. NAT has nothing to do with a captive portal.
I know, this one : Captive Portal on pfSense 2.3/2.4 is old. But it's still very useful to make a working portal in < 5 minutes.
First, go vanilla.
It works.
Then : add your VLANs. If thats breaks, you'll know where to look ;)
