    Question about pFsense and Squid Proxy

      Hi, guys thanks for time and help, i have a question i have a defualt pfsense installation

      WAN = DHCP
      LAN = ADM AND NET

      i install the squid proxy package, i turn on, set cache disk and set 192.168.0.0/16 ACL and i have acces to internet whiout firewall rules, i try adding block rule from LAN to WAN and still i have internet acces using squid proxy this is normal or i have miss configuration?

        @chacaman It's normal. Squid is not on LAN so your LAN rules don't apply. What are you trying to accomplish?

          @kom, thanks for your time, just i need to used the proxy services for controll user acces to intenret base on a few conditions, IP Range, URL, ports etc.

            @chacaman Access control is what Squidguard does.
