      System - Update - Update Settings is not happy if there is no available DNS.
      Makes it impossible to disable automatic dashboard check when configuring a system off-line.

      DNS Resolver startup may also be problematic when installing / configuring a new system.  Causing bootup and webGUI delays.

        I've hit this problem many times myself on installs where WAN connections are not ready yet. Just spitballing but it'd be useful if there was a page we could visit (http://pfsense.localdomain/offline or something) that would temporarily disable certain services and checks e.g. disable Unbound, NTP, Update Checks, etc so that the rest of the GUI could be configured without freezing/timeouts.
