Do I need pfBlockerNG?
I have a pretty basic setup on my SG-1100. Since I have all unsolicited incoming connections blocked by default, is there any reason to install and run pfBlockerNG, since (at least this is my understanding) it blocks based blacklists. Thanks.

@nguser6947 It also blocks traffic generated by local clients if they hit any of the blocklists...
So yes.

@cool_corona I guess I'm not so much worried about internal clients (it's only me at home) accessing things they shouldn't... at least, on purpose. I suppose if malware got in somehow then I'd want to block the ability for it to phone home, so to speak.
Is the SG-1100 robust enough to do this, using the easy rules that I understand the wizard will set up upon initial installation?

@nguser6947 Yes. For a home user its fine.

I love it if only for the ad blocking. Awful lot of white space on the pages!

Me too.. Add to that some malicious feeds.
Using it for geoip blocking also:
- Allowing only one country to connect to my portforward (plex).
- Blocking my internal users from connecting to a few places.
