      Hi,

I have a VDSL modem which needs VLAN7 tagging for the WAN interface. Everything is working fine. WAN: PPPOE1 (em1.7) -xxxxxxxx

Additional I would like to access the Modem from Inside the firewall, so I used the following manual to set this up:

      https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/recipes/modem-access.html

I point the modemaccess interface to em1. If I do so, I cant access WAN nor the modem.

      ModemAccess: em1 (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx)

Is the combination of different VLANs on the same physical interface not possible ?

That should work. You should be able to use the parent interface separately to the tagged VLAN interface.
