      Hi.

      I'm new to this forum, and all this stuff in general.

      Someone told me about this forum when they bought a MiniPC off of me.

      I have tons of them that are used and I've tested each one.

      Is it ok for me to post there? I am having an issue with the auto-spam detection because I'm a new user. I don't know how to get around that.

      The backstory is that I met a metal scrapper who had 100s of MiniPCs he was throwing out and I asked if I could see if some worked. Many did so I made him a deal; I'd give him $ for each one I can sell. More than he'd get from scrapping them. I've sold several hundred on reddit/ebay/facebook so far. Many people have been using them for RPi replacements, homeassistant, pfsense, opnsense, proxmox, clusters, and even some synth music systems. I try to keep the price low because I just want to move them into the hands of people who will put use to them.

        The short answer there is probably not.

        The unwritten rule is that Netgate pays to keep this forum online and in good shape and the cost is not insignificant. Advertising goods or services commercially that directly compete with Netgate is just bad form. 😉

        It sounds like the devices you have would be competing directly with Netgate's hardware sales.

            Just post them on Reddit’s r/homelabsales. I disagree that these compete with netgate hardware as they aren’t routers or have multiple ports and aren’t generally able to be upgraded to have multi port NICs etc.They make great little servers for containers and other things that are used as part of a homelab.

              @gabacho4

              I post them on r/homelabsales every 2-4 weeks. Just trying to find places were I can move them faster.

              Some have dual-NIC, but from my very limited knowledge of Netgate products, these would barely be considered competition.

              Since they're all used, almost every unit is under $100 so that's another way they're not competing with Netgate products.

                None the less I would prefer if you didn't link to that directly. Thanks.
