    Peer Certificate Authority for OpenVPN - Valid Cert needed?

      Hello,
      I have a pretty basic - standard - openvpn installation. Server mode is Remote Access (User Auth).
      Peer Certificate Authority i am using my freeRadius certificate.

      Question - Should I be using a legit certificate for my peer certifcate authority? It doesnt stop clients from connecting and authenticating.

      Firewall: NetGate,Palo Alto-VM,Juniper SRX
      Routing: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Switching: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Wireless: Unifi, Aruba IAP
      JNCIP,CCNP Enterprise

        No, best practice is to have your own PKI, under your control.

        I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.
