my pfsense vm is not working correctly, whenever I am trying to add endpoints Linux and windows, The internet is shutting down and pfSense webgui is becoming unreachable. If I restart the pfsense then it is coming back and again same problem within a minute. It is really frustrating.

@bob-dig Nothing to do with Suricata that I am sure! What is the WAN/LAN Network type you used? I am using Virtual Box's NAT Network for WAN and Internal Network for LAN, every endpoint is in same Internal Network.

@bob-dig Is something is wrong with the Suricata? I disabled IPS block mode but just re-thinking whether Suricata causing this issue?

              This shouldn't be relevant.
However, I wouldn't run pfSense on VirtualBox. There are other hypervisors doing this job even better.

Some hints in the pfSense system logs regarding the outage?

If you have Suricata installed and it was ever in blocking mode it's a suspect. Be very sure that's not blocking and there are no entries in the snort2c table.

When it stops working try connecting out from the pfSense console. Is anything reachable?
