A question, i use both lan and opt ports on the NetGate as trunk/tagged with two different natives to two switches. Lan with vlan 10,20,30,40 and opt port with vlan 10,20,30,40 is there any problems with this solution . It works for me but there could be something i dont know about it som possible conflicts.

The reason i do it this way, is because i have two 5 ports switches in two diffrent rooms. I dont wanna loose one more port to trunk from switch to switch.

@19taurus79 Typically the answer is no... but the 1100 is a switch already with the same MAC address on all three ports so it doesn't matter here.
