Even though I have the SafeXcel Crypto selected for the Cryptographic hardware, the dashboard shows it as inactive. I see other reports about QAT and aesni, but havent seen anything about the SafeXcel Crypto.

It's selected. I have a SG-2100. The dashboard loads the hardware crypto fine on 22.05. When I tried the 23.01 beta, it broke.

There is an issue with the way the dashboard is detecting it. It's built into the kernel at the moment so selecting it doesn't have any effect on whether or not it is active.

We will probably move it back to a module so the detection and selection mechanisms work as they did before. AES-NI had a similar issue and that's what we did there.
