      Hi all

Got an issue with hacker that appears to frequently block downloads, I use SquidGuard on LAN
and numerous IP addresses are blocked, but still seems hacker is either getting through or he does interfere on the WAN port on Netgate 1100.

Could it help to configure SquidGuard to inspect on WAN as well? What tools or package can be used to fix this? Suricata and Snort blocks unknown IP addresses all the time.

It looks like hacker and not configuration issue that interferes with downloads, because it stops and then I turn on and off internet connection and then it resumes, then it may stop again.

If it could be a configuration issue, how do I find out?

@netgate1100guy This sounds like your thread https://forum.netgate.com/topic/176862/problem-with-configuring-the-netgate-1100 ...

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
