I upgraded from pfSense+ Stable to pfSense+ RC1 today and everything was great after the installation other than an error on the update page that said my device was not registered. I had changed my hardware recently, so I figured I'd just do a fresh install of 2.6, request a new key, and upgrade to Plus again. I got 2.6 going, requested a new token, then registered the 2.6 install. I have the "pfSense Plus Upgrade" option, but it errors out saying "Unable to Check for Updates". When I run 13 from the console it bombs out saying there's an authentication error.

I couldn't import a pre-upgrade backup in pfSense 2.6, neither the one I have from before I did anything today, nor the one from a couple weeks back. I upgraded to CE Dev and was able to import my backup then, but I'm having issues getting my packages re-installed. Not sure what the deal is tonight.

Are you still seeing this? There was an issue with the CE > Plus upgrade repo yesterday but that has now been resolved.

@stephenw10 I found a couple posts with the same issue that said to contact support, so that's what I did. The tech had the problem resolved in minutes, great response. The upgrade process could use some work. It was a painful experience going through all the upgrades and the package re-installation that followed after each. A pfSense+ installer would help a lot.

Once 23.01 is released we can switch the CE upgrade to that directly so it should at least be less painful until a different solution is finalised.
