Hi All - I need to have a rule that will allow traffic pass traffic for a specific set of IPs between 7:15 am through the next day until 4:30 am; basically leaving a window between 4:30 am and 7:15 am where traffic will be blocked for 2h 45m. This rule must occur each day and the state of these connections must be dropped during the blocked window of time.

I see in the scheduler that times can only be set within the same day and can not cross 23:59. I can set two distinct time windows one for the daytime and another for the early morning just fine and the rule works, but what I am unsure of is that preservation of the connection states when switching between 23:50 and 0:00.

Will PFsense keep the connection states when the schedule switches over to another time window that is adjacent to the prior at midnight on a pass rule?

Multiple scheduler for multiple rules should do the trick

There must be a check mark somewhere that states got killed after schedule expired

Wild guess somewhere in the advanced section
