web interface without pfctl-d
-
Hi,
How we can access pfsense web interface without pfctl-d command. Pfsense is installed on Virtual box and configured to access its web interface by rule with port 433. The command pfctl-d is to be given for accessing its web interface on next restart of VM. Any configuration for accessing web interface with one time rule configuration with port 443 or any script to run in start up to access the web interface without the command pfctl-d. -
@jithktr 433 not 443? Whatever port you use you need to allow access by firewall rule on the interface you’re using. By default LAN has allow all.
pfctl-d disables the firewall.

Pfsense firewall configured in transparent mode. Created a bridge interface and management IP address is given to this interface by rule with allowing port 443 (HTTPS). Firewall doesn't go accessible over the management IP address if there is a shutdown/restart to the VM even though the said rule is present. Is there any configuration to retain the web interface accessible over the management IP address if the VM goes for a restart or shutdown?
