      System: pfSense 23.01-RELEASE (arm64)
      pfBlockerNG 3.2.0_3

I'm getting the following error message:
      [ Talos_BL_v4 ]
      ( md5 feed ) 503 Service Unavailable
Failed to download Feed for md5 comparison! Update skipped
      UPDATE PROCESS START [ v3.2.0_3 ] [ 03/17/23 17:00:24 ]

However, when I manually enter the update address in a web browser, it spits back a good list.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix this update problem?

What is the SOP for situations like this ? We just wait for the situation to resolve by itself ?

I don't know what is going on. It magically started working properly on its own without my making any configuration changes.

Perhaps a developer could shed light on the situation.

@mpfrench it often doesn't update for me, too.

For a file to get download, many of things should not go wrong.

talosintelligence.com uses 104.17.59.76 and 104.18.199.58 which traces into a cloudflare system somewhere in europe. They can, and they will have issues on their side.
It's 'hard' to maintain dynamic content available all the time.

Don't forget : even facebook and related services, their entire AS, went down several hours a year or so ago, just because some one made a mistake will editing some DNS ( ? ) settings. And even better : they couldn't even remote login and correct things, and had to come over to reestablish things.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
