      Im a bit lost. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I am trying to learn/Create VLAN's. I have created the interface & assignments in Pfsense. I have created the allow firewall rule. I have created a new tab in the DHCP server section with my new ipscheme for this new VLAN. I have given this new VLAN a Tag of 50 and set it to the igb1. I also have a Tplink managed switch. Im trying to set port 5 for this VLAN 50. In my TPlink I have VLAN ID 50 set to untagged ports 1,3 and 5. Port 1 is the port that pfsesne is plugged into and port 3 is the port my laptop is plugged into. Could someoen offer some suggestions on what else I am missing? I cant get port 5 to give out the new VLAN IP's. Everything is still pulling the IPs from my default LAN.

        @imv8n hey there,
        If your parent vlan (the one connected to pfsense) is vlan 1, then all other vlans are tagged whereas vlan 1 itself is untagged. All ports connected to end devices are tagged there...

          on the switch you also need to tag port 3 and also tag it to 3 on 802.1Q VLAN PVID Setting
