Hey all! So I've got PFSense virtualized on proxmox running 22.05 and I keep getting panic crashes which reboot the (virtual) device. Output on the crash report is:

Crash report begins. Anonymous machine information:

      amd64
      12.3-STABLE
      FreeBSD 12.3-STABLE plus-RELENG_22_05-n202700-3ddaea61055 pfSense

      Crash report details:

      No PHP errors found.

      Filename: /var/crash/info.0
      Dump header from device: /dev/vtbd0p2
      Architecture: amd64
      Architecture Version: 4
      Dump Length: 74752
      Blocksize: 512
      Compression: none
      Dumptime: Mon May 1 10:51:54 2023
      Hostname: home-pfSense.meskly.com
      Magic: FreeBSD Text Dump
Version String: FreeBSD 12.3-STABLE plus-RELENG_22_05-n202700-3ddaea61055 pfSense
      Panic String: privileged instruction fault
      Dump Parity: 3746115402
      Bounds: 0
      Dump Status: good

I can provide more info, but nothing further in the dump appears to indicate anything obvious that's wrong, it just looks like a panic. Does anyone have any idea what this might be or what else I might show you to get a better feel for what's broken?

Check out this thread posted in this same sub-forum recently: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/177570/pfsense-crash-under-proxmox-7-3.

The problem is likely with Proxmox itself. You will need to update it if that is the case.

@bmeeks Ahh, yeah, I'm using N5105 so this is almost certainly it. I'll keep an eye over there, but I guess there's no solution yet...
