    Monday morning, 07h05.

    I got a mail from my pfSense :

    Notifications in this message: 1
    ================================

    7:01:29 An update to pfSense version 23.05.b.20230503.0600 is available

    The following updates are available and can be installed using System > Package Manager:

    acme: 0.7.3_1 ==> 0.7.3_2
    Netgate_Firmware_Upgrade: 0.56 ==> 23.05.00

    Some packages are part of the base system and will not show up in Package Manager. If any such updates are listed below, run `pkg upgrade` from the shell to install them:

    7-zip: 21.07_2 -> 22.01 [pfSense]
    bash: 5.2.2_1 -> 5.2.15 [pfSense]
    bind-tools: 9.18.8 -> 9.18.13 [pfSense]
    ca_root_nss: 3.83 -> 3.89 [pfSense]
    ccid: 1.5.0 -> 1.5.1 [pfSense]
    ....

    But I'm not following the Beta program :

    login-to-view

    login-to-view

    I was to late to capture the image :

    login-to-view

    Which is normal.
    It was showing : "pfSense version 23.05.b.20230503.0600 is available" for several seconds.

    Edit : and where are the logs ??

              That was a mistake in the repo settings, it was correctly shortly after. You shouldn't be seeing that now.

                After update to final 23.05, update branches remained old (23.01 current and 23.05rc next stable)

                  Yep!

                  Because of all the Boot Environments, I had not enough space left so installation failed the first time. Maybe some sort of check for free space can be implemented in the future.

                    The final version was removed and a new snapshot 23.05.r.20230522.1252 was added. Now I can not upgrade to it, it says that I have a newer version. How do I now upgrade to a really final build when it comes out?

                        There is a an open bug for that internally but that's likely to be solved be adding features such as: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/13740
