I have a customer trying to replace an isp provided hot spot with their own captive portal. Currently they allow new devices to use the internet for up to 30 minutes, then require a "code" printed on the customer's reciept to continue to use the internet. Is there any way to do this using captive portal? I set up a captive portal that requires a voucher no problem, but I don't see a way to allow a 30 minute grace period before enforcing the voucher. Any ideas?

        Not like that.
I guess these two come close :

Is a 'free period' really needed ?
Everybody knows what "internet access" is these days.
if they want it : they get a voucher.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

@gertjan Thank you! That was the answer! I set the hard tie out to 30 minutes, 1 passthrough credit per mac address, and a 24 hour waiting period before they get another free credit.
