regelmäßiger WAN ausfall. Einfach neustart hilft ABER

Hallo zusammen,
oh je ich verstehe die Welt nicht mehr.
Seit ich meine pfSense direkt an die Internetprovider-RJ-Dose gesteckt und mich direkt angemeldet habe bin ich begeistert wie mächtig eigentlich pfsense ist, in Gegensatz zur einer FritzBox. Nun aber hatte ich am nächsten Tag einen Ausfall der WAN-Schnittstelle. Bevor ich auf die Fehlersuche ging, habe ich erstmals gleich neugestartet. Der Fehler war daraufhin weg. Aber am darauf folgenden Tag kam er wieder. selbes Prozedere. Dann aber schaute ich das nächste mal im Menü Systemprotokollierungen nach und sortiere nach PPP. Leider bin ich nicht schlau geworden. Der Router und das Lokale Netz funktionieren Problemlos. Aber aus irgend einen Grund fällt regelmäßig die WAN-Schnittstelle aus. Bin bei ComIn (Ingolstadt Stadtwerke) FTTH muss mich mit PPPoE einwählen. pfsense 2.6.0-RELEASEJetzt wollte ich bei euch Experten mal nachfragen. Was ist hier los? Wo muss ich suchen? Bin leider noch Anfänger was Netzwerk betrifft:)

mein Verdacht: du nutzt eine Realtek Netzwerkkarte da wäre es sinnvoll den Standard Treiber (der mit pfsense mitkommt) gegen den von Realtek auszutauschen.

@fireodo Hey fireodo, danke dir das du dir mein Thema angenommen hast.
Ich hab jetzt zwar nicht geschafft die Realtek Treiber drauf zu kriegen da meine Familie keine 2 Stunden ohne Internet aushalten können. (Gibt zwar Mobilfunk aber gut)
Nun ich habe die zweite Netzwerkkarte, eine PCIe Intel 4-Port genommen und dort das Providerkabel angeschlossen. Bis jetzt läuft aber ich gib nochmal Bescheid ob der Fehler wieder gekommen ist oder doch ruhe im Kasten ist. Dann wissen wir mehr....... -

also ich muss sagen deine Vermuttung @fireodo irgendwas mit den Treiber/Schnittstelle war richtig. Nach dem ich die Intel-Karte jetzt eingesetzt habe funktioniert die WAN Schnittstelle ohne Probleme. Ich würde das jetzt so vorerst lassen und nicht mehr weiter forschen...
Aber noch ne Frage, hast du das irgendwo im Log gesehen oder wie bist du auf die Idee genommen (noch so um zu lernen:).

Im Log hab ich nur gesehen dass eine Realtek zum Einsatz gekommen ist. Realtek & FreeBSD da gibt es haufenweise Foreneinträge die das Zusammenspiel von diesen Karten und dem Betriebssytem thematisieren.
