Rename user, username taken?

Hi! I was around here and already on the predecessor board since about 2014, using -flo- as a username. I wasn't here since quite a while and recently returned (my login works fine) but my username is now -flo- 0 which is awful.

I tried to change it back but it says the username is taken.

This however seems wrong: When I try to find it via a tag with @it is not shown. It seems btw. quite a few usernames have a 0 appended now.

Can anyone help me get my rightful username back?

@flo-0 I don't see -flo- taken either. But I tried to change it for you, and yeah getting same error.

Might be something with the - ? I do see a flo from 2008..

Lets call in someone with more power, @stephenw10 maybe he can shed some light on limitations with the forum and -'s and usernames maybe not being able to match other names without the -'s or something.

I joined 14th of January 2014, so this account from 2008 is not me. I don't see a flo via @ though.

When I select a user for example -Gu- with a @ then I will get @Gu instead. So maybe there is really a limitation of the board software.

Let's hope for @stephenw10 ... :-)

Hasn't been on since created it seems, maybe that is why doesn't show up with the at symbol trick?
