webgui not accessable from one PC
-
Pulling my hair out, the webgui is not accessible from my main PC, but is from my mobile via wireless (on same vlan).
I've tried using chrome, firefox and edge, all doing the same, I type in 192.168.1.1 (the IP of pfsense), it does get the redirect page to https, but after that it times out.
Everything else is working fine, and I can get to the internet through it.
I tried restarting the webgui via console and even rebooted the entire VM, still the same thing.
tried restarting the PC multiple timesI can ping 192.168.1.1 and even telnet into port 443 and get a response after I type in something
HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
Server: nginx
...i'm stumped.

And pfSense is on the same VM - device ?
Using another PC : works ?
You VM has 192.168.1.1 - what is the IP of the host - device you are using ?edit : what is the firewall you use on your PC ? The default 'windows' one or some shoot-in-the-foot-pay-ware version ?

@Gertjan yea by VM I mean the pfsense VM it's running on.
I got a different virtual PC that is able to get to the gui fine and my phone which is on wifi is able to get to it fine too.
pfsense has the ip 192.168.1.1, my desktop is 192.168.1.36
and yea, default windows firewall, nothing special. -

Wild shot : time date is ok ?
Another one : dono if this is still possible : restart in safe mode+network support and try again ?
The fact that all browser are a no go, says to me it's a system (host) issue.

@Gertjan Just a FYI, it was a MTU issue. Everything was set to 9000 except for the vSwitch in esx where the pfsense was running.
