[solved] XMLRPC Sync with pfBlocker?

I heard only the other day about XMLRPC Sync but I can't get it to work. I also can't find any documentation about it (or pfBlocker in general).
So all I did is just gave it the IP and port I use to connect to it. Pressed all update-buttons on both, and nothing.
Those two boxes are not connected in any other way than just via VPN, no HA or CARP or whatever. Now it looks like this could be the problem? What has do be done to only sync pfBlocker and nothing else. Is it possible?

@Bob-Dig What version pfSense are you on? There was a bug in a recent version and I want to say it was fixed in the Plus package code but not CE? Look at https://forum.netgate.com/topic/179060/pfblockerng-sync-not-working/7
Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@SteveITS I am on plus for both. I activated one (unneeded) option in Configuration Synchronization Settings (XMLRPC Sync) in pfSense and that is working fine. So you say is should be that easy and if it is not working, it might be the bug. Will try tomorrow what the last poster recommended doing, I have not done the manual patch though and I don't use backupmachine.
Edit: Tried it now, doesn't work for me. -

Turned out it is fixed in the non devil version of the same number... So I am on it now too. Thanks @SteveITS !
