Somewhere on this forum the possibility of monitoring the status of the gateway over several IP addresses was discussed. As far as I remember, one of the developers said that with the help of dpinger it is impossible.
In my practice, I use the following method:
It is possible to create two or more gateways for one interface, provided that Gateway IP adrees is dynamic.

For example:  Interface      Name        Gatewy      Monitor IP
                            WAN            WAN_1      dinamic      8.8.8.8
                            WAN            WAN_2      dinamic      8.8.4.4

      Further create Gateway Groups
                          Group Name        Gateweys    Priority
                          MultiWan              WAN_1      Tier 1
                          MultiWan              WAN_2      Tier 1

By specifying the firewall rules as the MultiWan gateway, we get the gateway emulation whose state is determined by the presence of the link, at least up to one site.

Unfortunately, all this works only if Gateway IP adrees is dynamic, but it is impossible to enter the static IP address of the gateway for those ISPs that require it. In my opinion, this is an artificial restriction. Can not it be removed?

      Thanks.
