      Hello,
I'm writing this post on the Forum because I've had some problems with my PF since it was upgraded from version 2.5.2 to version 23.05.1 (I did a clean install for the new version, with a clean install of the new version + import of my old conf file).
This is a virtualized PF on a Windows Server DataCenter 2022 21H2 20348.1726 environment, Hyper V 10.0.20348.1 Intel Xeon Gold 5120 processors in a cluster environment.
At first, we didn't have that many problems however over time these accelerated and now we must force reboot this one approximately every two days, we have no crash logs and random problems.
      The problems:
Our Zabbix alerts us to an ICMP loss of all server IDRACs, so we know that the pf has crashed/bug and we must force it to reboot.
We had case of disconnection of our two Gateways, but after verification no problem on this side, and a repair of the Gateway after reboot of the pf.
Enormous slowness on the Web interface, with some pages completely impossible to access and loading endlessly, such as the reboot page.
      [16:41]
On our Zabbix, we noticed a huge peak on the Context switch on the server hosting the vm just before the problems occurred, forcing us to reboot it.
The Vm is impossible to reboot from the web interface (inaccessible) or even from the console; nothing happens and we have to kill it from the task manager.
We don't have a crash log, as the Vm doesn't actually crash and just becomes unusable. However, during a crash we were able to connect to the VPN, for example, but were still unable to access the web interface, so once again we had to kill it from the task manager.
The problems really seem to be accelerating, at first we just had a random disconnection of the Gateway and thought it was an isolated problem, now we restart it approximately once every two days.
We will probably reinstall a PF in 2.5.2, but I took the liberty of throwing a bottle into the sea to see if other people had already had this problem, but I have the impression of finding absolutely nothing similar in our case.
      Yours faithfully

And how exactly did you do that? Install media for plus versions are only available for netgate hardware. So you clean installed 2.7 and then upgraded it to +?
