okay --- just FYI at this point it still shows also (23.05.1 RC) as a "Next Stable Version" Even though 23.09 RC is also listed.

At my end:️

It's alive but still shows 23.05.1 RC
is the difference maybe that you previously updated to "r" that was temporarily available as I recall ? (@stephenw10)
I never did that.

Shouldn't make any difference. Let me check...
-
@jrey You are running amd64 there?
-
@stephenw10
on a Netgate 2100 -
Ok, that only affected ARM and is corrected now but may not update unless you force it. It's only the field description, it doesn't affect the actual branch used.

Same
No show stoppers at this point.
All the packages I use are so far running as expected. Of course none have changed either, and that is also as expected.it compiled, it loads, ship it !

After a while (could have been a sooner than the hour or so, I checked again after lunch) it must have reached out and or processed itself into the correct version list..
it now shows "Next Stable Version 23.09 RC" and "Current Stable Version (23.05.1)"
It just took a while.
No issue it is just in the smoke and mirrors.@stephenw10 said in 23.09.rc Displaying 'later version than official' flag:
unless you force it
I took that to mean go for lunch
Thanks
