Expand HDD Space on ESXi
-
All, I initially tested with 10gb, now need to expand to 50gb. Below is an output of gpart show. How can I extend to the increased size I have allocated from ESXi?
Thank you!

Maybe you can create a new temp vm running freebsd 10.X, shutdown pfsense and mount the vhd to the temp vm and expand it there, then unmount and boot your pfsense.

"pfSense is currently based on FreeBSD 8.x. The ability to grow a UFS filesystem live is only coming with FreeBSD 10.x, so all this should be done from a rescue/install mode."

Simple enough to test this.. But since this is a VM.. Why don't you just fire up a new vm.. With the correct sized disk and partitions, etc. Then restore your config to it..
