      Hello,

I've been struggliing for a while with squid in transparent mode.

If squid is not transparent it works fine, as soon as i try to use squid in transparent mode, it strips out http.

If i u se the options accell vhosts allow-direct the transparent mode works fine.

i've installed squid withouth pfesense squid package and i am actually using it without any problem.

      Squid version Version 3.5.23
      Pfesense version 2.3.3-RELEASE-p1 (amd64)
      pfSense-pkg-squid-0.4.36_2

      Regards
      Oliviero

Maybe you are using Traffic Shaper limiters?

            Hello,

we have the same probleme –>

If squid is not transparent it works fine, as soon as i try to use squid in transparent mode, it strips out http.

…after i´m upgrade the pfSense to 2.3.3 and update the package Squid package to 0.4.36_2.

Same system and pkg versions like olivierofava.

I remember that we have the problem in the past.

I think it was this problem: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/5869
            Feels like the same…

            Best Regards
