      New to pfsense and suricata.
      I installed Suricata 3.1.2_2 using System/Package Manager.
If I look at the installed packages, I find the messages:

      • "Newer version available", but I found a topic on this forum that says "Bill, can't do anything until Freshports brings it in", so I suppose this is normal?
      • "Package is configured but not (fully) installed", I cannot find anything regarding this message, what do I need to do?

      Running pfsense 2.3.3-RELEASE-p1 (amd64)

I started installing suricata following this guide: https://github.com/elatov/elatov.github.io/blob/master/_posts/2016-11-16-setup-suricata-on-pfsense.md
Started using IPS mode on WAN interface.

This is a legend. Not related to the random package that happens to be last in the list, at all.

As indicated in the topic you referenced:
<qoute>Ah, my bad! The lack of a separator there as opposed to the ones above it is a bit confusing

Thank you for your time and effort.</qoute>
