What do you get in the OpenVPN- and System-Log after restart of the OpenVPN instance?

php-cgi 421 OpenVPN failed to start

I noticed that when editing the OpenVPN server it also gives me the following error:

One or more of the selected Data Encryption Algorithms is not valid.

AES-128-GCM and AES-128-CBC appear selected but if I remove them they do not appear in the list of available encryptions.

If it comes to such details it is necessary to know you pfSense version. I guess, it is not the recent. Then you should consider to update.

@viragomann I updated PfSense from 2.6.0. to 2.7.0 yesterday and with that OpenVPN was also updated.

Before updating PfSense, OpenVPN was starting normally, however, it was giving another error related to TLS.

TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity)
              TLS Error: TLS handshake failed

                We are on 2.7.2 already.
Go to System > Update and select the recent branch version.

Do you have other options in the branch drop-town? Maybe it helps to switch the branch to something else and than back again.

There are some threads in this forum with this or similar issues. Try to search the forum, maybe there are solutions.
