Before I mention anything to do with the heading, I would like to thank BBcan177 for his fantastic work with pfblockerNG and all those who have contributed towards this project.

I have been using pfblocker for about 18 months and have recently added to my install, thanks to the excellent information posted here about it I was able to get it working easily enough, its already prevented some nasty websites loading.

It also, thanks to my over zealous use of filter lists blocked a few websites used, its easy enough to fix that and adding white lists or alias's works very well and is simple to do but there is one thing bugging me that I wanted to ask here, when pfblockerNG acts on a filter list, is it anyway possible to have a wed page showing that reads something like:

'This web page has been blocked by pfblockerNG, please contact your administrator'

instead of the generic 'page not found'

I don’t know if its possible or even how to go about making something like that work but I think it would be a nice addition and useful maybe ?

My apologises if this isn’t the forum for such questions, if it isnt could a mod please move it.

Not with DNSBL, that'd make things pretty horrible, you'd get that page in place of every blocked advert, e.g.

If you are talking about the firewall rules, there's nothing preventing you from creating aliases (use one of the Alias actions in List Action) and using those as a destination in a NAT rule, redirecting the requests to some webserver and serving whatever you want there.
