I can't seem to find anything via Google searches that confirms or denies the possibility of inverting the selection of applicable interfaces in a Floating rule, so I was wondering if anyone has been able to improvise a way to do so?

We have pfSense running as a virtual machine, and the interfaces for 'internal' networks on it will change periodically, so it would be great if we could make certain rules floating and have an inverted selection (for example, select the WAN interface, and mark it as inverted) so rules would automatically get applied to the new interface. As far as I can tell, the current methods of accomplishing the desired results are adding the interface to the selection in a Floating rule, or duplicating the rules from an existing interface to the new one.

      Thanks for your ideas!
