Forum seems sluggish?

What about this....
The orange bar should be a refresh icon right?
-
@JonathanLee yeah that is not how it use to be.. It use to have text in it, that said something like view new items or there new stuff or something..
That little yellow/orange thing without any text is not very informative to what it means.

problem with your internet connection
Maybe. But several speed tests, based in Los Angles, Dallas, New York, and San Francisco give me 700 Mbits /sec or more.
So, whatever the issue is, probably not my local connection, neither the ISP, neither the Atlantic intercontinental connection. -
Still some issues it seems There was a short outage later while we threw some more resources at it. Now assessing that.
-
@stephenw10 yeah I saw a maint page a bit ago.. But seems to be working again..
And the monitoring I put in place does show a brief outage
Still seeing these as well - and they lasting longer
Before they were just really quick flashes.. And still seeing the problem with the 3 dot menu to do an edit for example.. Took a bit to get the edit to come up so I could add that screenshot of saying connection lost..
-
Yup it seems to vary. Right now it's working fine for me. Our guys are digging into it.
-
FYI, twice now (within the last 5 mins, say) hitting the button for Recent posts returns just the header and a blank page.
-
Currently it's very snappy! Nice...
-
@johnpoz
Not snappy for me but it works. -
@coxhaus yeah the delays are back :(
-
Yup still seeing delays. Digging continues.....
-
Seem to be getting NS_ERROR_WEBSOCKET_CONNECTION_REFUSED errors from nodebb.min.js when the stalls occur.
-
All of my latest uploads seem to be gone. Will they come back?
And btw, where is John.
-
johnpoz? I think he's away for a while. Is he not allowed holiday?
I'm not aware of any issues with uploads, haven't seen a problem here. You have an example?

My guess is now that I have renamed many of my threads later on and that will not work with the uploads. Examples are all of my latest threads.

Hmm, I see your attachments here for example https://forum.netgate.com/topic/187348/24-03-r-20240410-1729-saving-and-applying-wan-almost-times-out
Oh like here? https://forum.netgate.com/post/1162136
Hmm, not sure what happened there. I wouldn't expect editing a thread title to break attachments

That one is hosted externally, maybe the best method for this forum anyways, at least in my own threads.
-
Mmm, in the second thread though all the attachments seem unavailable. Not just yours.
-
@stephenw10
Also had this issue with screenshots I'd posted yesterday: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/187346/pfsense-haproxy-certificate-export-import/5 -
Hmm, and both had edited the first post....
