I'm not looking for detailed information on how to accomplish my goal. Just a general outline, so to speak. And, if it matters, all my PCs are running Linux.

I have 2 VLANs. One is SERV and the other DMPC. I want to be able to access SERV, via ssh, from DMPC. I have done this where the server and PC are on the same network. However, I just recently installed pfSense for the first time. I've managed to get both machines (and another) hooked up on separate VLANS and all talking to the internet. Having little to no experience with pfSense, I'm not understanding what I need to do to get access the way I want. It really boils down to not knowing what to search for on the internet.

DMPC needs access to administer SERV (current goal)
DMPC needs access to webserver on SERV (eventually)
SHPC needs access to webserver on SERV (eventually)
webserver on SERV not accessible from the internet (used for PHP/MySql)

Is it a matter of adding a rule/s to the LAN? Something like "allow from DMPC subnets to SERV subnets"?

Nevermind. My issue was the built in firewall on my server.
