TrueNas 23.10.0.1 WebUI appears continuously with rendering errors
-
Dear netgate team, I recently upgrade my netgate 2100 pfsense+ firewall to 23.09. I operate several services (wms and apps) behind HAProxy (the certificate authority is Acme).
Shortly after, I observed several 503 errors when trying to load JS and CSS assets from my TrueNAS WebUI page. These errors are only displayed when accessing the WebUI tru the FQDN address. The WebUI displays correctly when accessed directly tru the LAN IP address though.
After raising a ticket to iXSystems (TrueNAS team), a reasonable cause for this error was not found. Since all traffic is going through HAProxy, then there is no telling what is going on from TrueNAS debugging logs and we suspect it’s the culprit. I am then turning to you and kindly seek for your help.
Thanks, -

Short update, the corruption was practically suppressed after upgrading HAProxy package to version 0.63_2. -
@mbl_s_1 huh?
What corruption? Who suppressed what? You didn’t explain anything. Are you making a political argument? Corruption at the highest levels of government are suppressing you? -

Dear @michmoor, you bear the responsibility for your words. Such behavior is not funny, not sophisticated nor subtle and does a vast disservice to the reputation of Netgate. Your reply is not appropriate, especially in the technical context recalled on December 3, 2023 (please read the initial post for this topic).
The iXsystems TrueNAS team was infinitely more helpful to guide me to a resolution of this issue and encouraged me to contact you and share this issue with you. This was my first interaction with you and to my surprise this is not the technical level I was expecting. No reply would have been best.
Best regards, -

This was your response above. Please explain if it was technical and provide the neccesary feedback to help others who may be in a simliar situation.
Although i was making fun of your post in all honesty it doesn't make a lick of sense. IXSystems helped solve your problem but then you're saying "corruption was practically suppressed". I assume HA proxy update wasn't logging correctly hence you couldn't troubleshoot effectively.If you come on the forums seeking advice we will all try our hardest to assist you. But if you solved the problem the least you can do is let the community know what the issue is and if it's a problem with a supported package you or anyone can open a redmine and get the Netgate devs to take action.
Instead, you chose vagueness. -
@michmoor
Please read again my initial post on December 3, 2023. Then make a point on which data or else you need to help progress on this topic. -
@mbl_s_1
Your initial post on 12/3/2023 is nothing more than a problem description.
Not sure if there is a language barrier here but post what the solution was. Solution = how did you solve the problem based on the diagnoses and dataNot sure why you dont want to share this information.

@michmoor
Efficient trolling. I will not waste my team with you anymore. This topic is closed and I will not come back to this forum. -
