Multiple OVPN Clients on 1194
-
Hi,
Is it possible to reliably have multiple OVPN Clients using port 1194 if each is connecting to an independent server?
Thanks in advance...

Multiple vpn clients can use the same port if pfSense hosts the VPN server,
If you have multiple VPN servers on a pfSense LAN(s) then you have to create a NAT rule for every server - and every server needs to have its own port, like 1194, 1195 etc
If you host just one internal (on a LAN) VPN server, then one 'port 1194' NAT rule will do. -
I am not hosting any server on my LAN.
I wish to connect my pfSense to multiple external CloudConnexa instances (OVPN Servers).
Each of these CloudConnexa instances uses port 1194 so all on of my clients need to use port 1194

A VPN server should supports multiple clients, but I don't know what/who "CloudConnexa" is.
Ask them ? -
CloudConnexa is an OpenVPN hosted solution.
Effectively a hosted OpenVPN server.
Regardless, the question remains can pfSense connect to multiple independent OpenVPN servers using port 1194
i.e. one pfSense, multiple OpenVPN clients, all using port 1194

@McMurphy
For sure you can connect to multiple servers using the same port. It's likewise you can connect to multiple Websites, all on port 443 (HTTPS ). -
@viragomann hahah - yeah exactly.. Why was this even a question???

@viragomann
Thank you. Long day and was not thinking.
I was thinking outbound traffic was on port 1194
