Hi, stupid question--I know the GeoIP blocking function of pfBlockerNG relies on MaxMind data. MaxMind sent out the below notice...does this impact pfBlockerNG? Or does this already understand how to use the new URL?

      Thank you!

As of Wednesday, May 1, 2024, we will use R2 presigned URLs for all database downloads in order to increase the security and reliability of our services.

This is a potential breaking change. Please ensure that your servers can make HTTPS connections to the following hostname:
      mm-prod-geoip-databases.a2649acb697e2c09b632799562c076f2.r2.cloudflarestorage.com

We recommend confirming the above as early as possible.

Might as well provide the link to the details:

I'm under the impression that my MaxMind Account is solely for creation of a user key.
I'm also under the impression that pfBlockerNG updates provide the geoIP.txt file.
My file was last updated 3 days ago, I presume as part of my pfBlocker feed update.

I'd appreciate if someone would clarify if we need to do anything or if it's just going to keep on going.

It appears to be a redirect of the permalink, so it should continue working unless you have a list or something blocking cloudflarestorage. https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/updating-databases
