Ok great so it's a certificate problem.

      Try running: certctl rehash
That should be run automatically from any recent snap though, including Mar 13th.

      Try running: pfSense-repoc
That is what should pull the client certs.

None of those worked, and when i run the bootstrap command this is what i get.

This is looking like a reinstall.

        [24.03-BETA][admin@pfSense.local.lan]/root: pkg bootstrap -f
The package management tool is not yet installed on your system.

@stephenw10 FYI, I did not see the repeated verification prompt with today's build; however, I did wait until my 300 seconds was surpassed before attempting to logon after the manual reboot.

Nope there was a problem with this morning's build. We temporarily removed the branch to prevent users getting stuck on that version.

Spoke too soon. it ii's still there even with this afternoon's build; however, if the initial timeout has exceeded it's does not show up. It's not that big of a deal and it no cause for alarm.

Bump, since it's been nearly a week since an update.

Yeah. Since we haven’t had an update for over a week now, I’m guessing it’s close?

                              Going through update withdrawal.

@behemyth just run pkg upgrade and pkg update that should get you your fix and hold you over

It won't because the public pkg repo hasn't been updated since the last beta. We are ironing out the last few wrinkles internally. I hope! 🤞

I've pfSense plus 23.09.1, so I cloned my existing 23.09.1 boot environment into a new one, booted into it, and hit the upgrade (to 24.04.xxxx) button.

                                        I use these packages :

                                        ab4d2624-7930-426f-aa68-5fb9089855cc-image.png

and I also use the captive portal.

It's now close to 2 weeks, and invested "more then reasonable" time in looking into issues.
                                        I've found none.

                                        edit : hardware : a 4100.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Fingers crossed I do not want to do that reinstall process again

It shouldn't. I've upgraded 2100s numerous times. If it there is some specific config/package issue though now is the time to find it!
