I did use HAProxy in pfSenseCE 2.6 (and previous) for a long time without any issues. It is in use for all our database and website traffic. HAProxy-devel as it is now included with 2.7 (now 0.63_2) very often ends in high CPU usage and stuck/hanging requests. Am I alone with such findings?

The system runs on a D-1541 CPU (8 cores x 2 threads). Number of threads to start per process was traditionally 4. I did also try 8 and 1 thereafter.

Is there a recommended way out? Is there a recommendation regarding "number of threads to start per process" or other parameters? Should one move from -devel back to stable?

No issues here. However, I don't use haproxy-devel.
