Double DDNS in SiTE-TO-SITE
-
A simple question: in a topology where i have 2 pfsenses connected by openVPN Site To Site. Can i register a DDNS in each one? For example, a.ddns.net at headquarters and b.ddns.net at branch
Does this affect the speed of the network, could it cause some type of unavailability? -

No DDNS has not any impact on connections or speed.
It just enables you to use host names instead of IPs and in case of dynamic IPs it's a way to get a static name for the address. -
@viragomann I would feel bad if I didn't ask, as the branch is on the other side of the country. Driving there because of a misconfiguration would be terrible. Thanks
