Can i bond 2 LAN interfaces in order to act as one with same GATEWAY? i ant to connect PFSENSE to 2 different switches -
@Melim
You're probably looking for bridging multiple interfaces.Interfaces > Interface Assignments > Bridges

@Melim You'll need switches that are stacked if you want resiliency.

LAG - Link Aggregation
Linux = Bond - means combining logical line to one physical line
Cisco = Trunk - means Link-Aggregation that is vlan transporting
Networks = Link-Aggregation (2 lines to 8 lines)Link-Aggregation is bonding together several physical network wires
to a logical acting "big" one. Minimum are two lines and maximum
often are eight lines. In normal we are talking here about Link-Aggregation, and there will be normally two modes you can use the static one and the dynamic one,
the dynamic one is realized over LACP . What ever you want to go with
or plain wich to you want to use, it must be set up on both ends same.i ant to connect PFSENSE to 2 different switches
pfSense is connected to redundant (two) core switches behind the
firewall, therefore you can use LAGs. -
There are often different network layers in a network, you can have also two
core switches that are redundant and connect the pfSense with 2wires each
two that redundant core. -
@Dobby_ The OP mentioned a LAG.
You can’t create a LAG to two different switches, you could have two different links and route.

One LAG to the switch 1 and a second one to the switch 2 would be able to realize
