The message was :
so I ask the same question differently : how is your LAN (or WAN) set up ?
What IP is used on LAN and WAN.The thing is : pfBlockerng comes with the default 'out of the box' 10.10.10.1 as a VIP address.
But it detected a conflict.
Up to you to change the VIP, for example : 10.10.40.1 -

Up to you to change the VIP, for example : 10.10.40.1My LAN is 10.10.10.1, it's not a problem to change the VIP address, does it have to exist or do I make it up. What do I gain and what do I lose if it exists and what if it doesn't exist.

@neba just change the pfBlocker VIP to any nonexistent IP address/subnet. It’s used for the DNSBL block page which needs an IP for its web server.
