      Hello,

      I own a Netgate 3100

      It's running pfSense 22.05-RELEASE

I would like to set a new OpenVPN server so I can get my GrandStream DP750 to connect to it.

The problem is that the settings are VERY basic :

      a3d970e1-6aaf-4081-b469-c8c25f70d2de-image.png

So right now, I tried to set up a new OpenVPN server in pfSense:

      • MODE : SSL/TLS + User Auth
      • tun - Layer 3 Tunnel Mode
      • UPD on IPv4
      • TLS Authentication
      • Auth digest algo: AES-256-CBC
      • IPv4 Local network: only the IP of the VoIP server /32

On the GrandStream DP750 side I entered:

      • The server address and port
      • I uploaded the CA that I got from pfSense in System > Certificate Manager > CAs
      • I uploaded the Certificat that I got from pfSense in System > Certificate Manager > Certificates
      • I uploaded the Key that I got from pfSense in OpenVPN > Client Export Utility
      • Cipher Method: I selected AES-256
      • Username and Password have been double-checked
      • I disabled Comp-lzo
      • No additional options

      It doesn't work !

      I don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

      Any idea?

I currently try to set that up with a GXP2160

          @BlazeStar did you succeed?

I plan to set up a rather minimal ovpn-server just for the phones.
The WebGUI of the phone is quite bad and gives no good status or feedback etc

          Not even logs ...
