Can't get into my Linksys Router IP address
-
Hey guys, I can't get into my linksys router IP address. I have my own built Pfsense router, with a linksys switch and a linksys router with an ethernet cable plugged into port 1. I reseted my router. Currently the LED on my Linksys router is Purple.
I did get into my DHCP and add a static IP address.

@Master-Henry You set a static IP on the Linksys router?
Port 1 is a LAN port on it?
If you are trying to use the Linksys router as an access point, generally there are a couple of steps:
- give it a static IP in the pfSense LAN subnet
- disable DHCP server on the Linksys router
You can always plug directly in to the Linksys router to connect. A connection from a PC to the Linksys does not go through pfSense so pfSense is irrelevant in that connection path.

If you reset the Linksys router it's probably back in router mode an may well be conflicting with pfSense.
I would connect a client device to it directly and set it back to AP mode.
It probably blocks connections to it's WAN port by default.

Create a virtual IP and point it to the interface the router resides on.
