      Hello everyone,

After upgrading my pfSense setup from version 2.5.0 to version 2.7.1, I've encountered issues with users unable to connect to the OpenVPN server using client certificates generated under pfSense 2.5.0. Here are the details:

Error Message: "Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: packet HMAC authentication failed"
Configuration: The OpenVPN configuration on the 2.7.1 server was imported from the 2.5.0 backup.
Client Certificates: The certificates were exported using OpenVPN Client Export in PKCS12 format.
Observation: Users with client certificates generated under pfSense 2.7.1 can connect without issues.
Has anyone experienced similar problems? Any suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you!
